CRTD - Center for Regenerative Therapies TU DresdenThe Center for Regenerative Therapies, Dresden (CRTD) of the TU Dresden was founded in 2006 as a research center by the German Research Foundation (DFG) and awarded the title 'Cluster of Excellence.'
The institution's goal is to gain insights into regenerative and stem cell biology which can be used in the longer term to develop new cell therapies and possible treatments for a large number of diseases.
The CRTD Carries out Research in Four Research Areas:
- Bone Regeneration
With over 90 research groups from top-class partner institutions and a core of 15 new groups, the CRTD forms a densely packed, interdisciplinary network which combines Dresden's various skills in the field of regenerative biomedicine.
Its close cooperation with clinical research helps put new findings into practice without delay.
